The University offers Master’s Degree programmes in the above courses which combine practical experience with class room theory to prepare the students to gain full-fledged understanding, skills and techniques needed to qualify for job opportunities, self-entrepreneurship and to achieve one’s career goals in the growing Tourism and Hotel Industry. As a matter of fact, tourism, travel and hotel services have acquired the status of an industry with potential of earning foreign exchange and generating employment opportunities.
The course curricula are designed to have papers belonging tourism, travel and hotel management streams and thereby enrich the prospects of job opportunities. The courses prepare the students to develop their enterprising skills and make them confident to manage the hotel & tourism industry. One of the aims of the courses is to provide qualitative inputs in the tourism & hotel management sector.

P.G. Diploma in Animation (Leading to Master’s Programme)

With the significant advancement of technology, Animation has caught the imagination of modern generation. Knowledge in Animation and Visual Effects enables the youth to avail themselves of a plethora of opportunities in the Entertainment and IT industries. The course curriculum is carefully designed to equip the students to pursue a vibrant career as Content Developer, Storyboard Artist, Character Designer, Production Coordinator, Line Producer, Key Frame Animator, Colour Artist, 2D Animator, 3D Modeller, Texture Artist and the like. After successful completion of one year P.G Diploma Course, the desirous students can continue for another one year for obtaining Master’s Degree in Animation.

P.G. Diploma in Textile Design (Leading to Master’s Programme)

Odisha has covered out a niche for itself not only in the country but in the entire world as the traditional hub of Textile Designing. The Sambalpur Sarees, the Mania bandha Pattas and Berhampur handlooms have attracted the attention of people world wide. A course in Textile Designing with special emphasis on Odishan textiles will enable the students to grab a wide range of opportunities in different government and private sectors. This specialised knowledge will also help the students to build up a career as entrepreneur. After successful completion of one year P.G Diploma Course, the desirous students can continue for another one year for obtaining Master’s Degree in Textile Design.
